Ecuador's navy said Wednesday it is searching for survivors after a fishing boat with more than 100 U.S.- bound migrants capsized in the Pacific. Only nine people - two woman and seven men - have been rescued. The incident happened Friday, but it came to light only Wednesday after another fishing boat alerted Colombian and Ecuadorean authorities. The boat was believed to have left Esmeraldas, Ecuador, on Thursday with 113 would-be illegal migrants headed for the United States. It capsized a few hours later in Colombian waters. The Colombian and Ecuadorean navies were working together to search for bodies and possible survivors. But Captain Armando Elizalde of the Ecuadorean navy, head of the search effort, said it was highly unlikely there could still be survivors.
