Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local, regional and international issues. On the tour of the Crown Prince, Madinah newspaper commented that the current tour being undertaken by Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense is not new, highlighting that he directed to change the compass of the Saudi policy eastward. It said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was keen, since he took over the responsibility of ruling in this country, to inaugurate the activities of Saudi foreign policy with an Asian tour including China, India, Malaysia, Pakistan and Hong Kong, reflecting the Kingdom's interest in the economic and industrial experiences as well as scientific and technical progress achieved by these countries. Also, in its editorial, Madinah pointed out that the Asian tour of the Crown Prince to Pakistan, Japan, India and the Maldives could also be viewed as a confirmation of the approach of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, not only to benefit from the experiences of these countries, but also to enhance the strategic depth of the kingdom in Southeast Asian countries and the protection of regional security and Saudi interests in light of the increasing risks in the region, in addition to strengthening trade and investment ties. --More 11:37 LOCAL TIME 08:37 GMT تغريد
