Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region and Chairman of Supreme Committee for Supervision of Implementation of King Abdulaziz Project for Public Transportation in the city of Riyadh, chaired here yesterday evening the seventh meeting of the Committee. The meeting was attended by Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region and Vice President of Riyadh Development Higher Commission; the Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, and the Minister of Transport Dr. Jubarah bin Eid Al-Suraiseri. The Governor of Riyadh region said that the meeting reviewed the progress of work on the train project within King Abdulaziz Project for Public Transportation in the city of Riyadh as well as buses project. It is noteworthy that the buses project includes the establishment of an integrated transport network consisting of 24 bus routes and 956 buses.
