Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, chaired here on Sunday evening the first meeting of Higher Committee for Supervising Implementation of Public Transportation Project in the city of Riyadh. The meeting was attended by Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, and Minister of Transport Dr. Jabara bin Eid Al-Suraiseri. Prince Sattam said the Committee's first meeting comes after the approval by the Council of Ministers of the implementation of the public transportation in the city of Riyadh and expressed thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz and Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, for the cabinet's approval of the project and the formation of a committee headed by Prince Sattam to oversee its implementation. Prince Sattam said that this decision comes as an extension of the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz on making life easier for citizens. --MORE
