Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region and Chairman of Riyadh Development Higher Commission, has chaired the 5th meeting of the Supervisory Higher Committee for Implementation of Public Transport Project in Riyadh City. The meeting was attended by Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, and Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Vice Governor of Riyadh Region and the Commission's Deputy Chairman. The Governor of Riyadh region said in a press statement after the meeting, that the meeting reviewed the project of the public transport which was ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, noting that the Higher Committee agreed to all the steps that have been taken previously for the completion of the train project, first. He looked forward to signing the train contracts in Riyadh before the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, adding that studies for buses are under way. The Prince said that the King ordered that the project should be completed in four years, and we are working to implement his order.
