Jazan Border Guard Foils Attempts to Smuggle Embargoed Substance

During routine patrolling, the Border Security Guard at land and maritime posts in Jazan Region managed to foil attempts to smuggle embargoed substance.
Information spokesman of the Border Guard in Jazan Roution Brig.Gen. Abdullah in Mohammed bin Mahfouz said the items confiscated include 719 pieces of diversified weapon, 4697 of live ammunition, 5057 narcotic pills, 698350 kg. of chewing Qat, 5568 kg. of Hashish, 4020 kg. of foodstuff, 540311 Saudi Riyals 20297 kg. of snuff, 3160 kg. of fireworks and 11664 heads of cattle.
Also apprehended were 89884 infiltrators and 1151 smugglers.
