Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local, regional and international issues. Albilad newspaper said that King Abdullah's project to take care of the cultural heritage is a pioneer project aimed at developing projects of urban heritage allowing interested scholars and visitors access to the heritage of the kingdom and the civilizations it witnessed including their greatest, the Islamic civilization. It explained that this huge project contributes to promotion of the cultural dimension of the Kingdom and provision of jobs to citizens. It noted that recently the kingdom has paid considerable attention to national heritage and antiquities and carried out many projects to develop and make them known at the local and international levels.
