Palestinian President Receives Japanese Envoy

President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine met here today with Japan's Special Envoy for Peace in the Middle East, Yutaka Iimura, currently visiting Palestine.
During the meeting, President Abbas briefed the Japanese official on the latest political developments in the region as well as on U.S. efforts to push forward the peace process.
