Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received on Sunday Japan's special peace envoy to the Middle East, Yutaka Imura, in the Jordanian capital - Amman and discussed with him the latest developments of the stalemate in the (Middle East) peace process. Abbas informed Imura of the Israeli government's practices obstructing peace, including its refusal to uphold signed agreements with the Palestinians, honor terms of peace references, and end settlements. The meeting addressed the continuous efforts to revive the peace process, along with the Palestinian internal reconciliation efforts and updates, according to a report of Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA).
