Jeddah-based King Abdulaziz International Airport's (KAIA) Customs officers have foiled three smugglers attempting to enter a total of "4688 grams" of narcotic cocaine concealed in their bowels and underwear . Director General of KAIA Customs, Mohammed Al-Ghamdi said that the smuggling of cocaine was made via three attempts, but all have foiled. He stressed that in spite of the diversity of methods used by smugglers to enter contraband substances into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the efforts made by customs officers in the ports prevent the smuggling gangs from achieving their goals.
