French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius met here today with Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the obligations of France and the joint security agreements between the two sides to protect the security of the State of Kuwait in light of the current regional situation. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments and the issue of exempting Kuwaiti nationals from the European Union visa requirement (Schengen), a matter which was met with acceptance and support from the French Foreign Minister.
