Lebanese President Michel Suleiman met French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, here today. During the meeting, they reviewed the current situation in Lebanon and the region. Addressing a press conference, prior to his departure from here, Fabius said he had also discussed (with the President) prospective economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries. Fabius also stressed the importance of Lebanon's unity and sovereignty for France.
