Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika met here yesterday French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, who is currently visiting Algeria. The meeting, which was also attended by Algerian Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci, focused on bilateral cooperation and security issues in Sahel region. They also discussed regional and international issues of common concern. After the meeting, Fabius said his visit will follow another one by French President Francois Hollande to Algeria.
