Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Education and Chairman of King Faisal International Prize (KFIP) Commission and Executive Director of King Faisal Foundation, patronized here today evening the prize's winners announcing ceremony. Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Othaimeen, the Secretary General of KFIP, announced the winners of this year's prize as follows: - Winner of KFIP in the branch of the Service of Islam is Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Abu Bakr Limo (Nigerian national). - Winner of KFIP in the branch of Islamic Studies is Professor Abdulwahab bin Ibrahim Abu Suleiman (Saudi national). - Winner of KFIP in the branch of Arabic Language and Literature is Dr. Abdullah Ibrahim Allawi Albosabah (Iraqi national). - Winner of KFIP in the branch of Medicine is Professor Yuk Ming Dennis Lo (Chinese-British national). - Winner of KFIP in the branch of Science is Professor Gerd Faltings (German national). The prize's winners announcing ceremony was attended by a number of princes, ministers, officials and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
