Ministry of Education has allocated four billion Saudi riyals from its current fiscal year budget to support new school projects, promote its existing projects which included projects to build 275 schools at a cost of SR 2775 million, and rehabilitate 1500 school buildings against SR 750 million, in addition to the establishment of 20 multipurpose hall at a cost of SR 100 million and logistics services project for the development of warehouses against SR 100 million. The allocated amounts will also finance the integration of small schools, furnishing and equipping buildings of the new departments of Education with a new amount of SR 105 million. This came in a statement delivered by the Ministry of Education's Undersecretary and Ggeneral Supervisor of the Financial and Administrative Affairs, Eng. Mohammed bin Saad Al-Shakhty in a press conference held today at the headquarters of the ministry on the ministry's budget for the fiscal year 2014/2015.
