A SUM OF SR 490 MILLION FROM THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR BUDGET FOR THE GIRLS EDUCATION IN MAKKAH REGION WILL BE ALLOCATED FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A NUMBER OF EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS. DR ABDULAZIZ AL-AQLA, THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF GIRLS EDUCATION IN MAKKAH, SAID THESE PROJECTS INCLUDE 13 SCHOOL COMPLEXES AT A TOTAL COST OF SR 221 MILLION; 15 SCHOOL PROJECTS VALUED AT SR 75 MILLION; EIGHT RURAL PROJECTS WORTH SR 16 MILLION, IN ADDITION TO RENOVATION PROJECTS OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS ESTIMATED TO COST SR 17 MILLION, AND BUILDING OF EXTRA CLASSES FOR SOME SCHOOLS AT A TOTAL COST OF SR 3 MILLION. DR AL-AQLA POINTED OUT THAT THERE ARE ALSO SIX CONTRACTS FOR MAINTENANCE OF SCHOOLS OF MAKKAH INVOLVING AN EXPENDITURE OF SR 5.5 MILLION.
