General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received here today Dr. Hisham bin Abdullah Yamani, President of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE). During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of nuclear energy and peaceful use of the nuclear energy. They also discussed importance of developing new resources for energy, stressing necessity to take steps for signing agreement for mutual cooperation in the nuclear field. For his part, Dr. Hisham Yamani provided to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed a draft proposal for bilateral cooperation in the nuclear field which is recently approved by the Cabinet. They two sides agreed to continue efforts with the relevant bodies in the two countries for preparing a final agreement in order to be signed.
