Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues. Albilad newspaper praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's great interest to serve the Book of Allah, the Holy Quran. Almadinah newspaper highlighted the exercises "Walaa Wa Fidaa" that were held in the Kingdom for the fourth year in a row and used live ammunition and modern weapons. Alyoum newspaper said that "with respect of kingdom for all judicial decisions in the world, but there are many question marks toward what we hear, here and there, especially with attempts to smear the name of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in any form, by allegations linking Saudi institutions with terrorism." The newspaper denounced U.S. appeals court's revival of a suit in which families of victims of the Sept. 11 attacks alleged that Saudi Arabia provided material support to al-Qaida, describing it as a silly charge, which probably does not merit a response. The newspaper attributed the case to a new punitive attempt to falsify facts, due to the strong policy of the Kingdom and its condemnation of the abnormal international political policy led by the United States which made the kingdom refuse the seat of the Security Council in protest against mistreatment of Arab issues and crises. --More 10:41 LOCAL TIME 07:41 GMT تغريد
