Locally, Alriyadh newspaper highlighted the Saudi report adopted by the United Nations Council for Human Rights in Geneva amid praise by members who discussed the report's contents. Alyoum newspaper highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's effective global presence and support for regional and global balance and stability. Okaz newspaper called for bolstering efforts in the field of housing for Saudi citizens. Albilad newspaper pointed out that after few days, all government agencies will start campaigns to monitor the situation of expatriates in the Kingdom to verify their legal status. Regionally, Almadinah newspaper commented on the possibility of an outbreak of civil war in Lebanon because of Hezbollah which receives orders from Iran. On Syria, Alwatan newspaper mentioned leaks about the possibility of a proposal to postpone the conference, "Geneva 2," to January 2014 while Alsharq newspaper expressed pessimism about the success of the conference.
