At least two people including a child were killed and six others injured Tuesday by a bomb in southern Afghanistan, officials said, according to dpa. "The bomb concealed on a bicycle went off when a border police vehicle was passing," the office of the governor of Kandahar province said in a statement. The incident happened in Spin Boldak, a district used by the Taliban to enter Afghanistan from their bases over the border in Pakistan. A border policeman and a child were killed, while two policemen and four civilians were wounded," the governor's office said.
