A suicide bomber on Friday killed one policeman and one civilian in southern Afghanistan on the border with Pakistan, injuring two more policemen and eight civilians, dpa quoted police as saying. "The bomber had crossed the border entering Afghan soil in Spin Boldak district and police stopped him at a checkpoint," said Abdul Raziq, police chief for Kandahar province. "He detonated his explosive vest when police were searching him," Raziq told dpa.
