Saudi Ambassador to Egypt lays foundation stone for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Square in Luxor

Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Kingdom's permanent representative to the Arab League Ahmed Abdel- Aziz Qattan yesterday laid the foundation stone for the Square of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud in the Egyptian province of Luxor.
A ceremony on the occasion featured popular and folkloric shows highlighting Saudi and Egyptian heritage and speeches highlighted strength of Saudi-Egyptian relations.
Naming the square after King Abdullah was proposed to express the Egyptian people's gratitude for the king's position towards Egypt.
