Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Kingdom's permanent representative to the Arab League Ahmed Abdel- Aziz Qattan yesterday laid the foundation stone for the Square of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud in the Egyptian province of Luxor. A ceremony on the occasion featured popular and folkloric shows highlighting Saudi and Egyptian heritage and speeches highlighted strength of Saudi-Egyptian relations. Naming the square after King Abdullah was proposed to express the Egyptian people's gratitude for the king's position towards Egypt.
