The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confirmed its endeavor to consolidate, at the domestic and international levels, the values of tolerance, understanding, dialogue, confronting extremism and deepening dialogue among followers of religions and cultures to spread the spirit of tolerance and moderation based on the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for dialogue among followers of religions and cultures launched in Makkah in 2008 as well as the conferences of Madrid, New York and Geneva which were crowned by establishing King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for Dialogue among followers of religions and cultures in 2011 in Vienna with the participation of Spain and Austria. Addressing the Internatioanl Forum on the Rights of Communities, Faisal bin Hasan Trad, Saudi Arabia's Acting Ambassador to the United Nations European Headquarters in Geneva, said the Saudi delegation confirms its rejection to any attempts seeking to portrait Saudi Arabia as practicing segregation among its own people in any way, citing some articles of the system relating to such rights. He said Saudi Arabia secures work for whoever is able and enacts the protection of laborers and owners of businesses, provides illiteracy eradication and security for both citizens and expatriates. He denied that the Saudi national identification card hints to any kind of segregation among Saudi nationals according to their geographical regions, races, colors, or sects.
