Director General of South Korean News Agency (Yonhap) Jae Seok Oh called for utilizing modern technology and means of communications to reach all recipients through using new media channels to transmit the news and reports with the utmost scrutiny and objectivity.
In a statement to SPA today, Oh, here to participate in the IV News Agencies World Congress (IV-NAWC) being hosted by SPA, underscored the importance of diversifying the sources of news and expanding the area of providing news products and services as well as the multi-media, production and distribution of the contents, together with being committed to the basics of professionalism and credibility of transmitting the news.
