FANA Secretary General: Federation's General Assembly Meeting is An Opportunity for Exchange of Views

The Secretary General of the Federation of Arab News Agencies ( FANA) Dr. Farid Ayar said that the 41st meeting the Federation's General Assembly is an opportunity for exchanging views and experiences.
He pointed out that the meeting will discuss the Federation's activities between the two sessions, the training workshops carried out in cooperation with regional institutions such as Reuters Thomson Foundation, symposiums related to the changes taking place in the field of communication and their impacts on the future roles of Arab news agencies, relations with organizations and news agencies of South East Asia and the world news agencies, and the Federation's general budget.
Dr. Ayar described the meeting as significant, as it precedes the IV News Agencies World Congress expected to address the topics of utmost importance to make the information works practiced by the agencies better at all levels.
