Presided over by its speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shura held here today an ordinary session. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Fahad bin Meted Al-Hamad, assistant speaker of the council, said that a number of issues on the agenda were discussed during its 56th session. The council approved a draft general agreement for cooperation between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of Gabon, after listening to a report on the matter from the foreign affairs committee. Majlis Al-Shura also approved a draft system for transferring information of dealers with private enterprises electronically to the National Information Center of the Interior Ministry (Shmous security system). Al-Shura council also approved that the Ministry of Civil Service is to conduct a study regarding reasons of difficulties facing the ministry. The council also discussed a report submitted by the Economy and Energy Committee regarding an annual report of the Commerce and Industry Ministry for the fiscal year 1433/1434H. Majlis Al-Shura then discussed a report presented by the Information and Culture Committee regarding an annual report of King Abdulaziz Foundation for the fiscal year 1433/1434H.
