Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shura held here today its 30th ordinary session. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Fahad bin Metad Al-Hamad, Assistant Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, said that the council discussed a number of issues on its agenda. Al-Shura council discussed a report of the Culture and Information Affairs Committee regarding the annual report of the Culture and Information Ministry for the fiscal year 1431/1432H. The council approved a draft agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in the field of air transport services. Majlis Al-Shura also approved a draft framework cooperation agreement in the fields of agriculture, livestock and fisheries between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of Sudan. Then, the council discussed a report of the Social, Family and Youth Affairs Committee regarding a draft system of child protection. The council approved the government's amendments in the draft system. Al-Shura council discussed a report of the Culture and Information Affairs Committee regarding a draft protection system of the Arabic Language in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
