AlHijjah 29, 1434, Nov 3, 2013, SPA -- At least six people died when a double-decker ferry carrying some 200 tourists sank off Thailand's Pattaya beach resort Sunday, police said. The accident occurred about 5:30 pm (1230 GMT) some 1.6 kilometres off the popular beach resort situated 100 kilometres south-east of Bangkok. The ferry had been carrying foreign and local tourists from Larn island to Pattaya, dpa reported.
