Two Chinese tourists were killed and four other people were injured Wednesday in a speed boat accident at a popular seaside town in Thailand, police said, according to AP. The speed boat, which was carrying 20 Chinese tourists, crashed into a glass-bottom boat anchored near a pier in the resort town of Pattaya, said Police Col. Suwan Cheawnavinthavat. He said two of the tourists were thrown from the boat and suffered fatal cuts from its propellers. Two Thais, including the boat's driver, and two other Chinese were injured. Suwan said the speed boat was entangled in the anchored boat's rope before it crashed. He said police suspect that the boat was traveling too fast, given the serious impact of the crash.
