New Tropical Depression Forms in the Pacific

AlHijjah 27, 1434, Nov 1, 2013, SPA -- A new tropical depression has formed off Mexico's Pacific coast and it could strengthen to a tropical storm.
The depression's maximum sustained winds early Friday are near 35 mph (55 kph). The U.S. National Hurricane Center says some strengthening is expected and the depression could become a tropical storm later in the day.
The depression is centered about 305 miles (485 kilometers) southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, and is moving north near 7 mph (11 kph), AP reported.
