AlHijjah 5, 1434, Oct 10, 2013, SPA -- The Prophet's Holy Mosque in Madinah has a great status in the hearts of Muslims who visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj and Umrah rituals and pray at the Prophet's Holy Mosque. Madinah, the City of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), has been selected by Islamic, Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization ( ISESCO ) as the Capital of Islamic Culture 2013AD. The Prophet's Holy Mosque witnessed last Hijri year the largest expansion in its history when the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud laid the foundation stone for it. The Mosque can accommodate up to two million worshipers at the end of the project's works.
