GCC Secretary General: Hezbollah Slurs against GCC are Void

AlQa'dah 21, 1434, Sep 27, 2013, SPA -- Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States, expressed regret of the statement issued by Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrullah.
In a press statement issued yesterday, the GCC Secretary General said: "In a time the voice of moderation and convergence tops in the region against obnoxious sectarianism that threatens the region's security and stability, the Secretary General of Hezbollah insists in his recent speech to continue fueling sectarianism and expand the circle of division in the region."
Al-Zayani added that slurs and allegations made by the Secretary General of Hezbollah against the GCC Member States are false allegations and void.
The GCC Secretary General added that the Hezbollah Secretary General's statements reflects a clear indifference of Lebanon's stability and its interests.
