AlQa'dah 19, 1434, Sep 25, 2013, SPA -- The sixth ministerial meeting of Friends of Yemen which was held in New York today lauded the political and economic achievements reached in Yemen as a result of the world community support amid critical circumstances in the southern Arab Peninsula country. The meeting underscored the need at the same time to enhance stability in terms of the overall economy in its capacity as a crucial pillar for the highly-required smooth political transitional process. The participants called on the Yemeni government and the donors alike to continue their commitment to the road map drawn by the recently-held national reconciliation conference, expressing satisfaction over the steps taken to implement the mutual check arrangement which was designed to put the priorities of reforms on one hand and the donor commitments on the other.
