AlQa'dah 17, 1434, Sep 23, 2013, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has strongly condemned the attack, 22nd September 2013, on a church in Peshawar, Pakistan which killed over fifty innocent people and injured tens of others. Prof Ihsanoglu denounced the act as a negation of the peaceful values of all religions. He conveyed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims as well to the government and people of Pakistan over this tragedy. The Secretary General then reiterated the principled stand of the OIC which rejects all forms and manifestations of terrorism and expressed its solidarity with Pakistan in their endeavors to combat extremism and terrorism. He also called on the authorities to identify and bring to book the perpetrators of this heinous crime.
