Border Guards' Patrols Foil Smuggling Attempt, in Jazan Region

AlQa'dah 13, 1434, Sep 19, 2013, SPA -- Patrols of the Border Guard at the sectors of Al-Dayer of Bani Malik and Farasan governorates, affiliates of Jazan Region, managed to foil attempts to smuggle a number of contrabands during their daily routine tasks.
The Media Spokesman of Jazan Border Guard Command Gen. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mahfouz pointed out that the patrols foiled the attempts, following exchange of fire with the smugglers, pointing out that seven Kalashnikovs, 57 various pistols, seven magazines of ammunition and 311 live bullets were seized. No casualties reported among this unit soldiers, he concluded.
