Published in Saudi Press Agency on 19 - 09 - 2013

AlQa'dah 13, 1434, Sep 19, 2013, SPA -- A passenger train collided with a two-level city bus at a crossing in Ottawa, Canada on Wednesday, killing "multiple" people, authorities said.
Television images showed a heavily damaged red double-decker bus, with firefighters and ambulances at the scene. The front of the bus appeared to be sheared of by the collision.
Ottawa Fire Services spokesman Marc Messier told a local television station there were "multiple fatalities" and several injuries on the bus, and no injuries on the train. He told another television station that the initial estimate is that five people were killed.
The accident occurred in the middle of the morning commute just outside a suburban train station in the city's west end. A witness told the Associated Press that the bus appeared to drive through a lowered crossing barrier.
