A Slovak news agency says a train has collided with a bus in central Slovakia, killing 10 people and injuring about 20 others. The national TASR news agency says the collision occurred at about 9 a.m. (0800 GMT) Saturday at a train crossing near the town of Brezno. The bus was carrying 35 people. TASR said the injured have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment and several have serious injuries. The report said the train derailed but its passengers escaped with minor injuries.
