AlQa'dah 7, 1434, Sep 13, 2013, SPA -- Russia and the United States are still working towards holding a Syria peace conference, news agencies quoted their foreign ministers as saying Friday in Geneva. "We are working hard to find common ground to be able to make that happen," US Secretary of State John Kerry said. Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov would resume talks on the peace conference on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly later this month. Meanwhile, they said discussions were ongoing on the concrete steps necessary to rid Syria of its chemical weapons.
