AlQa'dah 3, 1434, Sep 9, 2013, SPA -- The Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held a preparatory meeting at its headquarters in Riyadh today for a meeting at the level of undersecretaries of culture departments at the GCC member countries. During the meeting, the participants reviewed the cultural programs and activities for the period from 2013 - 2016, the electronic linkage among cultural institutions and libraries, a proposal to establish GCC child museum in Bahrain, establishing a data base among cultural institutions, holding cultural days in Australia, the transfer of cultural strategy materials into applicable programs, establishing a center for translation and Arabism, and the publishing of the second version of the GCC writers' guide.
