AlQa'dah 2, 1434, Sep 8, 2013, SPA -- The prime ministers of Serbia and Kosovo were set to meet Sunday for a new round of talks brokered by the European Union, as pressure mounts on the two sides to make further progress in normalizing their ties ahead of a key election in November, DPA reported. The local poll, set for November 3 in Kosovo, is "a milestone for the future of Kosovo and for the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina," read a statement issued this week by the office of EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton. She will be mediating Sunday's talks. "(Ashton) appeals to all parties to continue to work hard on preparing the electoral process and to continue to show maturity and good will," the statement said.
