The latest round of European Union-brokered talks between the prime ministers of Serbia and Kosovo ended Wednesday with no tangible results, dpa reported. "They have returned to their capitals for consultations and will come back to Brussels on March 4 for a further meeting," EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton said in a statement after hosting the two-day meeting in Brussels. "The prime ministers are pleased with the significant progress they have made, as am I," she added, without providing further details. The talks are thought to have tackled the sensitive issue of the ethnic Serbian minority living in northern Kosovo. It was the fifth round of talks between Serbia's Ivica Dacic and Kosovo's Hashim Thaci held under EU auspices. The negotiations are meant to remove obstacles to normal life stemming from Kosovo's secession, which Serbia never recognized. The normalization of relations between the two sides is a condition for progress on Belgrade's bid for EU membership.
