AlQa'dah 01, 1434, September 07, 2013, SPA -- Pakistan said Saturday it would free seven Afghan Taliban prisoners including a former senior commander to help reconciliation efforts in the neighbouring country, dpa reported. The move came after Afghan President Hamid Karzai Karzai urged Islamabad during official visit in August to help set up talks with rebels allegedly based in Pakistan. The Foreign Ministry said they were being released in addition to 26 others who were released during the last year. -- SPA 11:02 LOCAL TIME 08:02 GMT تغريد
