Tropical Storm Kiko (KEE'-koh) is swirling in the eastern Pacific, but forecasters say the system is expected to weaken, AP reported. The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said Sunday that Kiko was centered about 380 miles (615 kilometers) west-southwest of the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula. It had maximum sustained winds of 70 mph (110 kmh) and was moving north at 7 mph (11 kmh). The hurricane center says weakening is forecast to begin later Sunday and continue through Monday. There are no warnings or watches in effect for land.
