The Saudi Cultural Attache office in Beijing, China, signed an agreement with China's biggest companies for translation, printing and publishing aiming to enhance translation between Arabic and Chinese languages for five years. The agreement comes as response to the vision and aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to lay the cultural bridges and civilizational dialogue among civilizations and followers of religions. The agreement also enhances the Saudi and Chinese book, preserves the publishing rights of the two countries and enhances the partnership between Saudi and Chinese publishing houses. The Saudi ministry of education has recently translated and published more than 50 books from Arabic into Chinese and distributed them at the ongoing Beijing International Book Fair in its 20th edition.
