Minister of Health: No case of New Coronavirus Reported During Ramadan

The Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, and the Second Deputy Premier, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr.
During a ceremony on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr at the Ministry here today, Dr. Al-Rabiah said that reports confirmed that no case of the new Coronavirus or any other epidemic diseases had been registered among Umrah performers and visitors in Makkah and Madinah during the holy month of Ramadan in spite of their numbers amounting to more than 5 million persons who have all left the Kingdom except 200,000 persons.
He noted that the ministry has provided medical services through its facilities for more than 146,594 Umrah performers and visitors in Makkah and Madinah.
