Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior, met at the headquarters of Public Security in Jeddah yesterday with the Director of Public Security and security commanders in charge of Umrah missions. During the meeting, the Prince was briefed on security and traffic plans to be enforced during the holy month of Ramadan and the blessed Eid Al-Fitr for the year 1434 AH. The Prince discussed the plans and measures to maintain the security and safety of Umrah performers and worshipers at the Holy Grand Mosque in Makkah, particularly during the peak season of Umrah in the holy month of Ramadan, in light of the expansion project of Mataf (Circumambulation Track). The plans pointed out that as many as 60,000 security personnel from all sectors of the Ministry of Interior are in charge to implement security and traffic plans.
