Jamaica Police Seize Narcotics during Marine Patrol

Jamaican police have seized just over 2,000 pounds (907 kilograms) of marijuana and 35 pounds (16 kilograms) of hashish during a routine patrol in a south coast town.
The police force's marine division seized the cache of contraband wrapped in plastic after finding a small boat hidden in mangroves in the coastal community of Old Harbour. Officers found bundles containing the drugs stored on the boat, AP reported.
Police said Sunday they have made no arrests in connection with the find.
