Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, received here today Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer. During the meeting, the Ambassador congratulated the Pakistani Prime Minister on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing him constant good health and happiness and the Government and people of Pakistan steady progress and prosperity. According to a statement issued after the meeting, Sharif praised the important positive roles being played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in promoting security and stability regionally and globally. He also commended the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the people of Pakistan and its humanitarian aid to affected and needy Pakistanis, stressing that the Kingdom always stands by Pakistan and its people in difficult times. The Pakistani Prime Minister thanked the Saudi Ambassador and asked him to convey his greetings and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Royal Family and the people of the Kingdom, praising the Ambassador for exerting outstanding efforts for further enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries.
