Madinah newspaper highlighted the significance attached by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Egypt's role in the region. Al-Riyadh newspaper also dealt with the importance of Egypt's return as an Arab force. Al-Watan newspaper said the continuation of demonstrations by the Muslim Brotherhood disrupts the movement of Egypt's forward movement and advancement. Commenting on the Syrian cause, Al-Yaum newspaper commended the election of the new President of the Syrian National Coalition, Ahmed Al-Jarba.
