Saudi newspapers' editorials for today highlighted a number of current issues. Al-Yaum and Al-Sharq newspapers criticized Hezbollah by saying it is a puppet in the hands of Iran. Al-Bilad newspaper dealt with on-going works of the Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council while Okaz newspaper underlined the importance of domestic tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al-Riyadh newspaper commented on the current events in Turkey. It commended Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's way of governing through parliament, the constitutional court and all that concerns the limitations and powers enjoyed by any head of government in a democratic state. Al-Madinah newspaper praised the appointment of Dr. Rami Al-Hamdullah as Palestinian Prime Minister. Al-Watan newspaper said that the most prominent issue of concern to the Egyptian public opinion now is Ethiopia's diversion of the Blue Nile River in preparation for the construction of Renaissance Dam.
